The Great Commission

Today we got the privilege of taking part in the church plant here in Ishinomaki. It was a fantastic cross cultural experience. The highlight has to be getting to witness the first ever baptism here in Ishinomaki. One of the community leaders made the choice to follow Christ with his life and a public proclamation of his faith. It was a very moving moment for all of us. After the service a local high school senior also expressed his desire to be baptized. These are unprecedented moments. The great commission is being fulfilled before our eyes! (in the photo the man kneeling is being baptized)
